.
Immediately After Treatment
Avoid Touching or Massaging: Do not touch, press, or rub the treated area for at least 6 hours to prevent moving the filler.
Apply Cool Compress: Use a clean, cool compress or ice pack (wrapped in a cloth) to minimize swelling and bruising. Apply for 10-15 minutes at a time, several times as needed.
Stay Upright: Keep your head elevated for at least 4 hours after treatment. Avoid lying flat or bending over.
Limit Facial Movement: Refrain from making exaggerated facial expressions for the rest of the day.
Within the First 24 Hours
Avoid Makeup & Skincare Products: Do not apply makeup, retinoids, or harsh skincare products to the treated area. Use only gentle, hydrating cleansers and moisturizers.
Skip Alcohol & Blood Thinners: Avoid alcohol, aspirin, NSAIDs (e.g., ibuprofen), and fish oil to minimize bruising.
No Heat Exposure: Stay away from hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and sun exposure.
Following Days (2-7 Days Post-Treatment)
Monitor for Swelling & Bruising: Mild bruising, redness, and swelling are common and should resolve within a few days.
Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water to help your filler settle evenly.
Use Sunscreen: Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher daily to protect your skin and prevent pigmentation.
Avoid Strenuous Exercise: Refrain from heavy workouts or activities that cause excessive sweating for 48 hours.
What to Avoid
Sun Exposure: Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 2 weeks to prevent complications. Wear a hat and SPF when outdoors.
Facial Treatments: Avoid facials, laser treatments, microneedling, and chemical peels for 2 weeks post-treatment.
Sleeping on Your Face: Try to sleep on your back with your head elevated for at least 2-3 nights to avoid pressure on the treated area.
Hot Environments: Avoid prolonged exposure to heat sources, such as hot tubs, saunas, and tanning beds.
