How much does a virtual urgent care visit cost?
Virtual urgent care at Optimize by JaeNix is $100 flat fee — all inclusive. This is a cash-pay service only. Insurance is not billed.
What states is virtual urgent care available in?
Virtual urgent care is available to patients physically located in Texas, Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and Connecticut at the time of the visit. Your physical location at the time of the visit determines eligibility — not your state of residence. If you are not in one of these states, we are unable to provide care.
Can I get a prescription from a virtual urgent care visit?
Yes, when clinically appropriate. Prescriptions for non-controlled medications are sent to your preferred pharmacy following the visit. Controlled substances — including ADHD medications, benzodiazepines, opioids, and phentermine — are never prescribed through virtual urgent care under any circumstances.
Does virtual urgent care bill insurance?
No. Virtual urgent care at Optimize by JaeNix is a cash-pay service only. Insurance is not billed. The total cost is $100 with a $100 booking deposit required upfront.
What if I need ongoing care after my urgent care visit?
Virtual urgent care is designed for single-visit, acute concerns. If your situation requires ongoing management, chronic condition monitoring, or longitudinal care, your provider may recommend enrollment in our Direct Primary Care membership. DPC provides the kind of continuous, relationship-based care that urgent care is not designed to replace.
